WesTrain Nuclear is an alliance of utility managed nuclear training departments striving to continually improve the effectiveness of their organizations.
WesTrain Nuclear is made up of subcommittees that each have their own charter and conduct separate meetings. The subcommittees are organized based on specific specialties that apply to nuclear training. The current subcommittees are:
Membership in each subcommittee is decided by their specific charter, but is generally limited to training staff members within the NRC Region IV area of jurisdiction. Currently, this includes 19 reactors located at 13 sites.
This site has been fully redesigned and new features have been added. These features allow group discussions in a forum like environment and for subcommittee chairs to update their own subcommittee pages. Because of these new features, a user specific login is now required to access the site.
Once logged in, a user will be able view all of the subcommittee pages, but will only be able to participate in their specific subcommittee's discussions.
